Pets Need Adequate Water

Pets need water, it is a fact. Dogs will drink water as needed, but cats do not have a thirst driver like dogs do.

What you want to avoid is dehydration, a real pet killer, especially in the hot summertime.

Adding More Water

Whether your cat or dog has an adequate thirst craving to keep hydrated, the pet needs more water, especially in the summer and the best way to do that is to add some water to the canned food.

Just add a spoonful of water to a small can or more to a large can and mix it in. Dog or cat, you will know that you got them to drink more water, whether they knew it or not.
