Ok I am going to talk a little bit about blood acidity and how it affects cat immune systems.
If a person reads much at all about human blood acidity and oxygen online, there is a revelation contained in the facts.
Blood Acidity Affects Oxygen Levels in the Blood
Since the information available indicates that blood acidity affects oxygen levels in the blood(higher acidity means lower oxygen in the blood). It also indicates that blood acidity affects the immune system to the degree that highly acid blood(low oxygen) has been linked to disease, illness and cancer.
A Cat Has A Very Acid Stomach
It is pretty much common knowledge that cats' possess very acid tummies.
It also is something that veterinarians do not touch on in todays' veterinarian environment.
1 Sign that a Cats' System is Acid
Not only is it common knowledge that a cats' tummy is acid, but the fact that a cat has little stamina when it comes to activities that require a lot of oxygen in the blood, falls in line with the prevailing theories about acid blood and inability of the blood to hold oxygen.
A Cats' System Tends to be Acid
Considering a cats' extremely acid tummy and the fact that a cat has little oxygen available to it for strenuous activities indicates to me that a cats' system runs on the acid side.
Available Cat Foods Fail to Take Acidity Into Account
The canned and dry foods that I have used for my pets have all sorts of vitamins in them. There are standards for pet food that many of them follow for vitamins, but what about acidity?
I have never seen a cat food that suggests that acidity is important. I have seen some senior formula food that takes magnesium into account, but not acidity. Yet acidity is a role in a cats' ability to maintain oxygen levels in its' body.
Veterinarians and Blood Tests Never Take Cat Blood Acidity Into Account
I have taken quite a few cats to various vets yet even when a cat is struggling to breathe or very ill, I have never had a vet mention blood acidity of the cat or testing it.
While I have had vets recommend antibiotics or other medications for a sick cat, changing pet food, or suggesting putting sick cats to sleep, I have never had a vet indicate anything about acidity to me.
Even with blood tests, there has never been anything mentioned about blood acidity.
Yet the fact seems to be overwhelmingly promoted and believed by medical professionals, that blood acidity does affect immune function.
How Blood Acidity Affects Immune Function
Lack of oxygen, due to the inability of acid blood to retain oxygen, deprives immune and other blood cells of oxygen which affects the health of the cat profoundly.
Once the blood is sufficiently acid, then a cats' immune system is open to attack due to the suffocating immune cells.
Many Cat Illnesses That are Untreatable.
If one just reads the disease lists on many websites online that cover cats, one can see the endless things that cats suffer from, and a large part of it is a lack of immune response. I think the cells are suffocating and unable to function properly due to lack of oxygen.
Acid Blood Causes Fish Out of Water Syndrome For Cats
When a cat has acid blood, its' blood is like stagnant water, and its immune and other cells are like fish in that stagnant water, they are listless and barely functioning.
I think that this is a big reason why so many cats succumb to various problems, because their highly acid blood causes an immune systems that lacks stamina and is unable to attack and destroy invaders like it should.
My Solution
Once a cat is diagnosed with things like Feline Leukemia and many other diseases that are considered incurable and life destroying, all that is recommended is either putting the cat to sleep or antibiotic support- and sometimes nutritional support, but never is blood acidity mentioned.
I have found with my pets that blood acidity should be addressed to energize the cats' own immune system.
Raise Oxygen Levels in a Cats' Blood
Raising oxygen levels in the blood by changing acidity will make blood cells more alive, they will move faster, do their jobs better and reproduce better. This will make the cat happier and much healthier.
How to Change a Cats' Blood Acidity
Well the way that I use, is Liquid Bentonite, Coral Calcium and Calcified Algae.
I simply put a dose of each into a 1/2 glass of water and mix. Then I put in some cooked white rice and add to each can of food as I fix their plates. This makes a soft moist food and my cats love it.
These substances start to change the cats acid level and remove toxins from the insides out. Calcium is present and so are other essential elements. I add this to every meal. I also add a bit of cat iron supplement for some iron and b vitamins.
My pets are happier and healthier.Their fur, and sparkle in their eyes, and reduction of illnesses, reflect the new reduced-acid, oxygen-charged immune system that they now have.
